The Office of the Dean of the Faculty is the academic administrative office of the college and the personnel office of the faculty. The dean of the faculty is the chief academic officer of the college and is charged with general supervision over the departments of instruction and consulting with the president on appointments to the departments of instruction. The areas reporting to the dean include the chairs of departments and directors of multidisciplinary programs, the offices of field work, grants administration, the office of community-engaged learning, international programs, the registrar, office of equal opportunity and affirmation action and the learning, teaching and research center.
