Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Greek and Roman Studies
The Department of Greek and Roman Studies at Vassar College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Latin language and literature at the rank of assistant professor, beginning fall semester 2019.

The successful candidate will have completed a Ph.D. focused on Latin language and literature. The successful candidate will demonstrate well-developed success in, and continued commitment to, liberal arts undergraduate education. Candidates should demonstrate achievement in, or show distinct promise of, a program of original research. Candidates should be prepared to teach both Latin and Greek as well as courses in translation. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate an interest in contributing to one or more of Vassar's multidisciplinary programs.
